Bali furniture punishes careless movers. The island is full of heavy carved teak beds that were assembled inside the bedroom and will never leave through the door in one piece, and just as full of flat-pack wardrobes that turn to powder if you carry them loaded. My rule on every crew: if it has bolts, it comes apart; every bolt goes into a zip bag taped to the part it came from; and the same man who took it apart puts it back together at the other end. We also do assembly as a standalone job — new furniture deliveries, marketplace finds, or the wardrobe the last movers left in pieces.
What We Take Apart and Rebuild
Beds & Bedroom Furniture
Carved teak frames, canopy beds, slatted bases and headboards. Disassembled with the right drivers — not hammered apart — and rebuilt square and silent.
Wardrobes & Cabinets
Two- and three-door wardrobes, kitchen cabinets and TV consoles. Doors come off, shelves are numbered, backs are supported so nothing racks in transit.
Desks & Office Furniture
Sit-stand desks with motors, meeting tables, shelving systems. Cable trays and controllers labelled and re-fitted.
IKEA & Flat-Pack
Assembly of new flat-pack from any store, including the dreaded PAX-style wardrobes — with the manual when there is one and without it when there is not.
Why We Insist on Disassembly Before Moving
A loaded or even empty wardrobe carried whole down villa stairs works like a sail in the wind — it twists, the joints open, and a week later the doors will not close. Disassembly takes twenty minutes, protects the furniture and the walls, and lets us wrap each flat part in blankets so corners and veneer arrive untouched. The bolts-in-a-bag system means reassembly is faster than disassembly, and we keep a stock of common bolts, cams and dowels in the truck for the pieces where previous owners lost half the hardware.
Disassembly and reassembly of beds is already included in every villa move; this page is for extra-heavy or extra-many pieces and for standalone jobs. Buying a second-hand wardrobe across town? Combine assembly with single item delivery and one crew does both. Mirrors and glass shelves that come out of cabinets are wrapped by our packing team standards — cardboard corners, bubble, film.
How We Work
Send photos of the furniture
Front view plus one of the joints or bolts if you can. We confirm per-item price and time on WhatsApp.
We arrive with tools
Drivers, hex sets, spanners, a rubber mallet and spare hardware. No borrowing your kitchen knife as a screwdriver.
Disassemble, wrap, move
Each part wrapped, hardware bagged and taped to its part, parts grouped per item so nothing mixes in the truck.
Rebuild and test
Reassembled in the new room, joints tightened, doors aligned, wobble test passed before we call it done.
Pricing in IDR
Standalone disassembly or assembly starts from IDR 250,000 per item — a standard bed or two-door wardrobe sits right at that mark, larger canopy beds and three-door wardrobes run IDR 350,000–500,000. A standalone visit has a IDR 400,000 minimum, which covers one large or two small items. New flat-pack assembly is quoted from the product photo — a PAX-style wardrobe is typically IDR 400,000–600,000. Within a full move, most disassembly is already in the fixed quote; see the pricing page.
